Product Description
The race for the horsepower began in America in the 1950s, but the car that really started the era of classic musclecars was probably the Pontiac GTO from 1964. The GTO combined Pontiac’s muscular 389-cubic customs V8 with its lightest car, the redesigned, medium-sized 64 Tempest Lemans. This easy-to-build Revell 2’n1 kit on a scale of 1:24 has some of the most remembered factory equipment features of the car, including the triple two-barrel “Tri-Power” carburetor, a four-speed manual transmission and a double exhaust. A building instructions are included, so that skillful builders can convert the two-door “Post” coupé body into a hardtop. One of the optional street parts includes a second bonnet, which was cut out to absorb the chrome-plated blower with two four-cylinder fans and intake suction. Other hot ROD-Goodies are an increased rear wheel suspension and special rims in the style of the eighties. -The parts are included to build their 1964 Pontiac GTO in its original condition or as a street vehicle-carefully detailed 389-V8 engine with a tri-power carburetor or optional blower with two four-cylinder cylinders-authentic interior with scarf seats and a finely crafted “Four-On-the-Floor”-wardrob Redline tires – completely new decorative arches with several sets of individual stripes.
