Function Decoder II

Train-O-Matic offers a very small 8 outputs function decoder, with the added possibility of connecting a power pack for uninterrupted performance. The FD II is a NMRA compliant generic DCC mobile function decoder. So with no motor drive capability, but control for light and light effects for non powered power cars or coaches. It can also be used in a model house to create realism by animated light effects.

             – 4 power outputs with overcurrent protection (active low outputs, with load connected between output

                and common plus)

            – 4 logic level outputs (for LEDs or other digital output, active high outputs, with low power consumers

                connected between output and ground)

• Multiple effects available for each output, with presets or completely customisable blinking

• Output Mapping to functions F0, F1-F28

• Bidirectional communication, RAILCOM©

• SUSI© interface available on AUX3, AUX4

• Contacts for ordinary capacitors for back up power (220 µF / 16V to maximum 2200 µF)

• Outputs configurable for Smart Power Pack (SPP ©) control

• Upgradable software via the train-O-matic programmer, even with the decoder assembled in the locomotive

• Small dimensions make it usable in Z, N, TT, H0, OO, S, H0m, H0e and 009 scale models
