Prototype
4 German Federal Railroad (DB) type Tal 963 (Kkt-62) four-axle dump cars. Version with two unloading hatches per side and a brakeman’s platform on one end of the cars. The cars have type Minden-Dorstfeld trucks. Used to transport moisture sensitive and moisture resistant freight. The cars look as they did in the Eighties.
Model
The cars are new tooling. The dump cars are detailed in their construction and have different car numbers. All the cars have brakeman’s platforms and an end set wheel. All the cars have a close coupler mechanism. One car has imprinted train marker signs at one end. Total length over the buffers 284 mm / 11-3/16″.
