In July 2022, the Swiss company SBB Cargo International AG, in cooperation with SüdLeasing GmbH, ordered 20 Vectron multi-system locomotives from Siemens Mobility, including the XLoad equipment package. The Vectron XLoad is designed to improve friction coefficient utilization, enabling the transport of increased trailer loads.
